Not sure if this has been suggested before, but would it be possible to have the option of seeing your own quicknotes within the public arena? This would be useful in order to see where you are in the conversation, as well as perhaps helping to identify lag.
Yeah I agree. I sometimes like to see what I've said and helps keep track incase someone coments and your talking about three things at once and you forgot what you said or something. Good idea
/me shrugs. I guess it'd be a good idea
i like it myself
Yeah, and you can also catch typos this way. Sometimes someone will make fun of a person's typo, and the person who sent the qn probably didn't even realize they made one.
I agree about this. This being optional under the quicknote setings would be kewl.
John
This idea sounds splendid
Yeah Dusty I'd love it! It would be kind of like Aim!
or other messengers too
I'll add my vote to this ... I think it's a great idea. If it's an option that people can set in their account settings, no one should feel forced to read through their own quicknotes if they don't want to.
does sound like a good idea, but how easy owr hard would it be to set up the program for it or what ever you would need to do to change it?
Well they've already made it possible for premium members who make custom log in messages to read those and when we use one of the percent sign commands in qn's, we can see those as well. So I'm thinking it might not be too difficult to implement this. Of course I know nothing about coding or programming.
Yeah it would be like other messengers too! The reason why I said Aim is cause I use it much more than Yahoo.
This is now available as a checkbox from your account settings. Enjoy.
thanks chris.
Woo! What a result! Thanks for your support folks!
Dusty scuttles off to formulate another great idea lol
Thanks admins, and thanks also for remembering to announce this change on the news and announcements board.
No way it's really reality! Thank you ever so much Chris! This was a grate idea Dusty! I'm glad you're off to formulate more grate ideas!
